Unusual two part display cabinet in mahogany, circa 1820. The book case top has step arch with graceful cove molding. Two glass doors with dome top and six individual panes each. Three interior shelves. Top has a cove molded base. Cut corners and molded trim to doors. Top has raised center panel with embossed carved center shell surrounded by joining acanthus leaves wreath. Top rests on graceful base with center drawer flanked by two side drawers. Appropriate replaced bat wing pulls with stenciled floral decoration. Base has a scalloped apron and rests on cabriole legs with carved knee bends and large ball and claw feet. Beautiful cove molded top. Early refinish(Over 100+ years) Oak secondary wood.Condition: Age wear appropriate, considering age great. Original glass, top right pane on right door is cracked
