Fine 1 cent Watling Scale with Claw Feet - Lot #: 235

Circa 1902/1903 The Watling Manufacturing Company. Chicago, IL, USA. Octagonal top with glass face with original gold and red stenciling with mechanics visible. 1 cent slot upper right, face is enclosed with studded steel rim. Top rests on shaped support resting on center shaft with embossed scrolling flowers, leaves and flowering urns. Back two claw feet and rectangular iron base with brass plate. 15 1/2w x 23 1/2d x 67 1/2h.
