French Gilded Figural Mantel Clock - Lot #: 259

Antique French mantle clock with pirate figure holding a flag and gun with embossed garments. Sail pediment above a round clock with porcelain face. Porcelain face decorated blue and gilt border with floral interior border. Round beaded border, clock supported by a coal stove with scrolled acanthus leaf supports. Clock and pediment rests on sepentine gadroon border with scrolled ends continuing into scrolled legs. Cornucopia finials. Center porcelain plaque over a gadroon sepentine border with center leg with embossed ribbon cres, center porcleain medallion, scrolled floral sides and acanthus leaf foot.
Condition: Loss of gilt, missing a scroll in right side, missing a floral draping on left, Has original key
